An introduction to our RV Resort and it’s Beautiful Location
The question I hear most when I represent River Vista at a trade show (looking at you, Tampa Super Show đ) is âWhere IS River Vista?â âWhere IS Dillard, GAâ?
River Vista is at the tippy-top northeast corner of Georgia, nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, next to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We are 1 mile from the NC line in two directions, and about a 20 minute drive to SC. We are 2 hours to Atlanta, GA, 2 hours to Asheville, NC, 2 hours to Greenville, SC, 1 hour to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park entrance, and 2 hours to Gatlinburg, TN.
You can see from that short list that we have a LOT around us. Thatâs the joke. River Vista is in the middle of nowhere, on the way to everywhere. And itâs kind of true. Letâs call us a âgateway destinationâ since that supposedly sounds more professional. We have some amazing restaurants and quaint, cute little shops down main streets in each town nearby. We have a Walmart and some awesome Ingles stores. But what we really specialize in, is outdoor adventure, as mild or extreme as you like it.
If youâre driving up from any of our southern state neighbors, like Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, or Alabama, then fear not: itâs a super easy drive up I-75. You can totally dodge Atlanta by going through Athens (Go Dawgs! Go Gators!). And once you hit Highway 441, it will continue to be a super easy drive until you get here. No mountains or severe elevation changes to climb, no windy roads to white knuckle your way through. Just highways all the way.
And itâll be so worth it when you arrive here. Our valley is surrounded by little mountains which makes for the perfect view from your camper. Unroll the awning and raise the cocktail flag because you have arrived at the perfect destination here at River Vista.
